How to Stay Healthy this Holiday Season

I bet I know what you are thinking… Why am I writing this now, and it is not even Halloween? Here is why I have deiced to make a plan for EVERYTHING this Holiday season. I have been working super hard all year on my binge eating, and I finally got it under control. I really don’t want to backslide on that to help MYSELF, and I hope some of you find the guidelines I made helpfully. That below will be health guidelines that I plan to stick with.

Do an exercise video on Tone it Up every day.

I often say that I have finally found a workout program to live within the long term. I have tried a LOT of programs since I started working out regularly. The Gym was good for keeping me on track, and I even bought a year subscription to BBG. It was working really well until my Psoriatic Arthritis made a huge debut. I moved, and I finally got better, but the nearest gym was 45 mins away…that was NOT gonna happen; then I found Tone It Up, and so far, it is my absolute favorite.

track everything in noom

Earlier, when I was tracking very tiny little things that I put in my mouth, the weight melted off. Then I fell out of the habit. I really and truly don’t want January to get here, and I am 20 pounds heavier. Also

Drink at least 60 oz a least in a day

It seems that every time I don’t feel well, a DR tells me I am dehydrated and to cut down o the coke zero and drink more water. I will be happy if I get to a gallon a day, so that will be my big goal.

Do meditation

I started this last year. A dit took me a long ass time to feel as if it was helping, but now I refuse to start my day without meditating first. I use Headspace, and I love it! It really does help me calm down. I have to admit I was a spectacle at first but not now

If you are an introvert like me, Make sure you schedule some alone downtime

For a long time, everybody, including myself, though I was just a happy snobby bitch; fast forward many years later, and it was discovered that I had Schizoaffective disorder! And when the right meds were found that work for me, I became quite a preferred my books to human contact. And now…i have to get in some alone time to recharge, and I discovered the tough way that if I don’t get some quilty shut-eye, I turn into a raging bitch that no one wants.

Keep up my sleep hygiene.

As I discovered before I need at least 6 preferably 8 or 9 hours of sleep to be able to be a nice functioning person. Now I take sleep pretty damn seriously
