Last week I read two books. I have a feeling that this week will be spent hunkered down with some books since I am going through sugar withdrawal. I am doing the 21-day fix, and I would kill for a candy bar or something. I also feel like I have the flu. ugh. I am also eating Paleo while drinking Shakeology, so I have gone Paleo before, so I know this is normal. Anyway on to the books!
Last week I read
I just kind of liked both. It was more a meh thing. Reviews will be coming.
This week I plan to read
All of these books are perfect for Nonfiction November. I have read girl boss before, but I need some motivation, so I am rereading it. I am trying to learn as much as I can about Paleo, so that is why I a reading why we get fat book. I need some zen in my life, and that explains Pema Chrodren.
I hope that by next week I will feel better and be in a better mood so I can make this pretty again. Haha, Do you have any books that you go to when you need an uplift?
I loveeeeee to read and girl boss was good! I’m currently reading the secret which is really good. I m gonna read the schoo of greatness next. ❤️
I have heard many good things about Girl Boss. I cant wait to read it. 🙂 I never heard of the school of greatness. I will have to check it out!
It sounds like you’ve got some interesting non fiction books lined up – like you mentioned, I’ve heard #Girlboss is a really inspiring and motivating read.
Hang in there with your sugar detox… I don’t think I could have that willpower myself!
LOL…I am hanging in there. I tell myself that once I get over this hump that it will be smooth sailing.
Hope the sugar 21 day withdrawal goes well. I know sugar is so bad but we all love it to some extent! Hope the Pema Chodren book is good, I love her wisdom and outlook on life.
It has been a rough few days but I am hanging in there! I LOVE pema Chrodron! I first read about her in the desire map book and I a sooo glad i did.
Good luck with the sugar withdrawal… that can be pretty tough! I’d like to read #Girlboss.
Thank You!! It has been a rough few days but I am hanging in there!
My friend who has Crohn’s swears by PALEO! And – you’re brave to read that book with the huge jar of honey on the cover during sugar withdrawal!
really? I just feel amazing on it and plus I need to lose weight. I lost 85 pounds on it before. And lol at the jar of honey. I know!! luckily I am reading it on my Kindle so I don’t have to see it every time I go to read it.
Every Bitter Thing and Girl Boss look good.
Looks like a good week. ENJOY this week.

My It’s Monday, What Are You Reading
I can’t wait to read Girl Boss!! I hope you have a good week also!
These are interesting nonfiction books. I haven’t tried that kind of nonfiction before; usually nonfiction for me is a memoir. I especially love those about food. Yes, Chef: A Memoir by Marcus Samuelsson was raw and real. I drooled over the ingredients he used. Geisha: A Life by Mineko Iwasaki was a great read as well. I did like Eat, Pray, Love too. I’m all for self-discovery and finding one’s groove.
I LOVE self-discovery books! I read a LOT of them. I love memoirs and stuff like that also. IJust did not plan for any this week 🙂
