This was a book that my mastermind read way back in October, but I was way too busy then to read it. I feel as if I need to change my wealth mindset and to get me all fired up for next year. I feel as in I am in a slump with my writing and business. I loved the book You Are A Badass and thought I would give this book a shot.

What I liked

I loved her snarky sense of humor. Jen Sincero read her book on audio and her personality shined through. I read You are a Badass in print and while her personality shined through in writing, you can get a feel for her in audio.

I was right in that I did not have a wealth mindset. I grew up in central Appalachia and the people there could make a million dollars, and they would still claim poverty. I am the same way, so I cant judge. I have read Get Rich Lucky Bitch, and while that book was just ok, You are a badass at making money spoke to me.  I need all the wealth training I can get yo!

What I did not like

It is the same as any other mindset book. There is nothing I haven’t heard/read before in this book. It was a little..repetitive. I am getting burned out on self-help books.  Feel that if maybe I was in a different mood then I would have appreciated it more. Ah well…

It was sooo cheesy at some points. Like repeat a mantra every day and meditate and all of that good stuff. I mean I KNOW I should be grateful that I am so blessed but still. I kind of wish that she would dial down the cheese factor a bit in some places.

This is an excellent book if you are looking to change your mindset about money. That is what this is a mind-set book. I know intellectually what to do but getting myself the BELIEVE I can be wealthy is a whole nother story. I am going to keep doing it though. I figure more so or later it will stick and that I too can be a wealth magnet. It has some real nuggets of gold in this book that make this one worth buying for your home library.
