The best blogging advice that I have ever been given is to blog what YOU want to blog about. If that means straying off topic that is fine. It is YOUR blog.
Another one was don’t stress over ARC’s. I used to stress over getting them all read and reviewed in time but for a hobby it was too much. I now accept reviews bit I will read them on my OWN time. If someone does not like it, too bad. That’s why I never sign up for tours or anything like that. And now that I have a kindle ARC’s never expire. I really should get my review of the kindle up. It is the best thing EVAR!
I have also started to read what I want to read. Like I said I still review ARC’s but I am no longer stressed about it. I forgot who came up with “Free-Range Reading, but it was the best thing that hit the blogging world since…It actually IS the best thing to hit the book blogging world.
Also, I have stopped stressing about stats. Even if no one read this I would still blog because I love it. I really don’t get people who are so obsessed with getting 2 million hits or something. Sure, I sometimes look at mine and I am happy when I see the number grow, but it is not the end all be all to me. I think more people should just relax and have fun with it.
That is my 2 cents of the topic of best blogging advice! What is yours?
