I only read one book this week but I got big plans reading plans for the upcoming reading week. Scribd gave me a free trial and I saw that you could read 8 books at the low low price of 25 dollars a month ha. You get some audiobook credits but I emailed and asked since I am Deaf if they could transfer that into book credits. crosses fingers
So What books did I read last week? Here it is:
It really got me thinking. I am glad I read it. I want to go deeper into my faith so I am gonna make it a point to read books that will help me with that. I finally made it to church yesterday and I felt really good about that. I am going to start going every week. I used to be really into my faith but I feel as I have let my intellect take over and you know what? I am at the end of my rope. I can’t do this all by myself. I need God to take over and steer me into a better place than I am now. I mean I am not in a bad place but I feel like I am in the middle of the ocean and I am treading water and I am TIRED AND I am slowly going under. I need God to come and put me in his boat and do the steering. I am willing to do whatever he wants me but he gotta take me there.
So I know you are wondering what I am reading next. Here they are
I am in the middle of the Zombie Survival Guide. I needed escapist reading. It is my life jacket so to speak. I know zombies are a made up phenomenon and I am part of the zombie fandom so this is just what I needed. Then I was watching an Ellechat and she mentioned What is Best Next. It is a Christian productivity book. It talks about how we focus on doing a lot of things but not the RIGHT things that are why we always feel as if we did not get anything done. I am reading that on Scribd. Then I want to read Tools Of Titians. I bought it when it first came out and it has been just sitting on my Kindle. It is almost 600 pages so that will take up a big chunk of my week.
I have a copy of the Zombie Survival Guide. It’s still TBR and currently in storage. Armchair Book Expo, getting ready to move, drama club, and a volunteers’ tea. Come see what I’m reading this week.
How did you like Fervant? I’ve read one of her earlier books, but I’ve been seeing her name in lots of places lately!
