Sunday Post 5-20-18

 

I swear this year is going by way to fast.  It was my birthday last Monday, and my knees decided that they wanted to give up the ghost already. I haven’t even worked out in a week. It hurts to get up and to sit. It doesn’t hurt that bad once I start walking but still..different people have different theories. Some think I may have trained too hard while being to fat some think I may have hit old age early and have arthritis all believe I should give up and go to the Dr. I keep thinking that maybe the pain will go away on its own. Even if it does turn out to be arthritis at least, I bet the dr will have something more effective than cramming down Aleeve every few hours.

Everyone is starting to notice my weight loss now. I have also gone down a couple of sizes, but considering I still got 120 pounds left to lose ( I have lost 75 already), I don’t want to splurge on fancy new clothes until I am close to my goal weight. I have been thinking about trying Thredup. Both Modern Mrs. Darcy and Everyday reading have raved about the service. And neither has let me down in recommendations yet.

Also, what is up with people asking what program I am on and I tell them BBG, and they look at it and go ooohhh it seems soo hard! Well no shit that is one of the toughest workouts you can buy but they results if you do it correctly will blow your mind. I mean anything that is worth it I almost never comfortable but the payoffs are enormous.

The weather finally warmed up enough that I could read outside so yay for that. I was afraid that winter was never going to end for a while there.

My planner died a horrible death last week. My kitten knocked over my glass of water right onto the planner. All my friends were like just be glad it was your planner and not your laptop. I thought about getting another one, but then I decided that I would just use Todoist and Trello. I loved tech and had to admit the planner was a bit impractical to carry around so for now at least all my todos will live in the productivity cloud.

I am reading Grit( ebook) still and listening to Dread Nation (audiobook) still. I am waaaay behind on my Goodreads goal, but I guess that is what it is.

I have also decided to go on a #whole30 for June. I still eat palosih, but I am finding that I cant focus for shit and I feel more often than not tired and anxious. I have been doing the carb creep thingie, and I can feel a difference. Kind of hard to write when you continuously have brain fog.

  4. Happy Belated Birthday! If I calculated backwards correctly, your birthday is May 14th? If so, that’s the birthday of my childhood BFF.
