I finally broke down and paid someone to make my website pretty. I realized that I wasn’t really promoting it as well as I could have because I felt it was ugly before. I am pleased with how it looks now. There are a few things I want to tinker with but I am going to wait until Bloggista to do them.
My reading this week has not been so great. I read a lot of books in January then I slowed down tremendously. I am hoping to change that this week. Maybe it is the waether that has got me all gloomy or maybe it is the lack of vitamin D and fish oil, Who knows. All I know is that I have been feeling sluggish lately and I WANT IT TO BE SPRING!
I have lots of new ideas for blogging now. I am finally excited about it again. Last year it felt like a chore but now it feels like a second wind has overcome me and I cant wait to show everyone what I have planned.
I want to do VLOGS but I ran into the problem of blurry hands. heh (I am deaf and use ASL to communicate). My friends told me to sign slow, so I redid a test vlog in slo-mo. That helped some. I used to be a hardcore gamer so I have a gaming PC but all my creative friends are like you need a MAC. HMMMM what do you all think? Can you get decent video on a PC or is a MAC a must have?
I will be reading City of the Sun today and I hope to finsh it and review it. It is a debut but damn, the writing and the story is good!

Overall, site looks good. Only critique: I would increase the font size and maybe change the background to a different background so it’s easier to read. I found it a bit straining on the eyes to try to read…but there’s always Bloggiesta to work on it. 🙂

I’ve never done a vlog, but it looks fun. I’m not sure how the camera is held up (someone else holds it? not sure….)

Thanks!! I was using my computers webcam.All my mac friends says PC webcam sucks. Not sure how true that is.
Good luck with your vlogging experiments! I’m also having a little trouble with your font choice — it seems busy with all the serifs and yet light-weight and difficult to read.

I have been blogging for over six years and still haven’t done a vlog yet. In my head, it sounds like a good idea, until I sit down to do it 😉
I know what you mean. One of my goals for bloggista is to learn how to make a VLOG.
Glad to hear you’re exciting about blogging again… I think we all go in streaks like that. I’ve got to say that doing a vlog scares me to death. I give you a lot of credit for considering it!
