1 Family Gatherings
In my defense I am Deaf and a large portion of my family cant sign. So instead of sitting there feeling like the odd sheep out I read. I have been told this is rude but what else am I supposed to do?
2 Restaurants
Even if I am with family or friends I do this. If I am bored out comes my nook.
3 With a group of friends
Again sometimes my friends bore me with what they talk about so instead of sitting there thinking how boring they are I just read,
4 At the dinner table
Alone this is not bad but I do this around family too.
5 While waiting for the bus
I hate waiting for anything so to make it more bearable I read.
