Visme Review Part 1

As you can probably tell… I LOVE some apps. Especially apps that make me look more brilliant than before. When I first started blogging all of those years ago, all the bloggers had was Photoshop, and I never could get my skill to make anything look pretty. Then Canva came out, and it was way better and more accessible than Photoshop. It was still lacking something tho, but it was the best that could be done.

Until Now

When Visme contacted me to know if I would write about Visme, I was sure. I know you are asking what is different about Visme from Canva. I will get to that, I promise. I had initially planned on one post, but the more I played around with the software, the more I wanted to tell you my readers, and when this first post reached 1200 words with no end in sight, I decided to make this a series! I know people won’t read past 1000 words on a blog post so it will be a series.

What is Visme?

At first glance, Visme seems to be similar to Canva, but the more you work with it, you will see that it is better because it allows people like me to make beautiful charts and infographics. I am here to tell you I HATE doing that on canva. You have no idea of all the images I trashed from canva coast; my products involving infographics and stuff were butt ugly. I have always wanted to include pis charts and all of that stuff on my posts but the skill to make it look good eluded me.

Then Visme emailed me asking if I would write a post. I said I would check it out. I had my doubts, but I was willing to look over it, and I am sooooo glad I did!

This is the homepage. As you can see, I was making graphics for my Burn Our Bodies Down book review post.

This is what you will see when you get all set up.

As you can see above, you have almost unlimited options of what to make. The guides or prompts are excellent; don’t you don’t have to mess up eleventy billion times to get it right finally. It only took me around 2 hours to figure out everything. Considering I still don’t understand how to do stuff in Canva, half the time, getting the hang of any app in a couple of hours is A-MAZING.

I can’t wait to play with it some more to discover all that it can do
