ways to support your favorite book blogger

comment on their blog posts

Everyone loves comments. I know it is hard to come up with something other than a nice review but try and use your creativity.

Send an email that tells how much you like their blog

I love, and I know that any other book bloggers love getting these kinds of emails from fans. It makes all the hard work seem worthwhile. So donate shy and send that email!

If they have a Kofi or Patron, give them a couple of dollars

These days a lot of bloggers myself included either have a Kofi or a Patron. If you can spare a few dollars, then think about donating to help with hosting fees and the like. Most book bloggers do this out of the jo they get discoing books myself included and hosting costs and all of that can be a bitch so any little amount that you can spare will be find

Sign up for their email list

Everyone knows that the email list is where it is at. Your email list is made up of your super fans that will buy almost anything you put out. Another critical point is that you own your email list. While you may have a zillion fans on Instagram the moment that Instagram ceases tome bam you are lost while if you had an email list you could keep up with communication.
Follow them on social media
Don’t just follow them, interact with them. I love it when someone emails me or sends me a tweet. Nobody wants to hear crickets when te send out an update

Tell other people about them

It is no secret that as bloggers we hope that people will discover us and we will be a big deal in our niche. However, it is difficult for this to happen if no one knows about you. By spreading the word of your favorite book blogger, you are helping to bring new fans and a unique opportunity to the blogger.

  1. Great tips! I try really hard to support bloggers by commenting and sharing links. If I was rich, I’d donate more often to my favorites. Right now, that’s not financially possible.
