Off The Blog
If you have been following me for a length of time, you would know that I have been struggling with my health for the past 1 million years or so, it feels like. I finally got to the bottom of all my health issues ( an autoimmune disorder), and I have been feeling better. So I sat down to write a post and found that my mind was….empty… I am serious, that had NEVER happened to me before, and frankly, it scared the hell out of me. After attempting to force my brain to come up with something worth writing about, I would draw a blank.
Finally, I realized I needed so help, so I dug out my copy of the Artist Way and began to do the excesses hoping that something would work soon.
Because to be honest with you, my brain at the moment is a big empty blank where my Ideas used to flow. That scared me the most…I mean, what if my brain never comes up with a good idea for the rest of my life? Last week proved that my internet addiction runs deep, so I signed up for Freedom, and it is working!
My Week In Books
I enjoyed both of these books. I am patting myself on the back that I finished two whole books last week. I hope that since I am using an internet blocker, I will read even more this week.
I am nothing, not ambitious. Seriously though, I am trying to break my addiction to the net so that books will distract me, right?! RIGHT? 1
Apps that I did not know that I needed until I tried them
Freedom app
I was finally forced to admit that I am addicted to the ‘net. I soother people getting more successful, and after a good hard look, I realized that I had been walling in self-pity ever since I learned about my autoimmune disorder. I realized that if I was going to be successful, I had to start DOING something. I bought a subscription to the Freedom App, and I have it block EVERYTHING, and the fact that you are reading this means it is working!
What Made Me Happy Last Week
That I finally understood Notion well enough to buy a yearly subscription
I am working on making my ultra blog planner, and while I still have a long way to go, I am getting the hang of it.
That my Curls are finally looking well, I am using the Curly Girl Hair method.
Most of my products are from Young Living, but the gel and curl creme are not.
Pain pills that work so I can work out. I am a member of the Tone it Up program.
It has taken the better part of three years to finally find a pain pill that helps with my Psoriatic Arthritis. I haven’t worked out in weeks because it was so bad, but now I am 99 percent pain-free.
