Off The Blog
You remember me saying last week how I was going to follow the Tone it Up Fall challenge? Well, I did. I have made it through a week of sugar cravings, wheat cravings ( I am not supposed to have wheat to see f my Psoriatic Arthritis calms down. The recipes that are included with your plan is damn good. That does not make the withdrawals any less painful, though. It was especially hard when I saw people getting all things Pumpkin Spice and a million calories, and I had to decide which I wanted more to be a healthy weight or I can stuff my face and end up on the 600-pound show. Guess which one I picked? If you guess the healthy option, then you are correct.
The Tone It Up girls made some new workout videos, and OMG, the ones I have seen so far, are HARD. Then I remember what one of the TIU girls said a couple of week ago,
If it does not challenge you, it will not change youClick To Tweet
So I just kept on pushing myself, and I hope on Nov 1 that I will see a difference. I will work my ass off I don’t care how hard the workouts will be since I am determined to get back into shape and in better health.
My Week In Books
I FINALLY had a good reading week! I am sooo pleased! I got through two audiobooks, and I read the First MuderBot story All Systems Red. The audiobook that I listened to are:
The Super Attractor
Everything is figureoutable
I preordered both with some Audible credit months ago. When they hit my phone, I dropped everything to listen. I was not disappointed. Reviews of both are coming soon
Then for the ebook, I read The first Murderbot book. I loved that one also and will be continuing to read allll the MuederBot Dairies.
I have been asking myself why I even bother with a TBR pile since I am a mood reader. It happens almost every time. I join something I get my pile ready, and when it comes to reading A book that I had been waiting for for months, and I drop everything to devour it. No regrets
II am starting to think that maybe a TBR is not for me after all. I am experimenting to see if there is any truth to that question, but in the meantime, I am going to read what I want WHEN I want.
What Made Me Happy Last Week
- I read three whole books and loved them all.
- The Holidays are almost upon us.
- Scented Candles
- Pumpkin Spice coffee
As much as I have to admit that I love October I can NOT wait for the Holidays!
I don’t know if I could do the Tone It Up challenge. I really need sugar, even though it’s bad for me. I need to cut back on my sugar intake though. Hope you have a great week!

thank you!!
Congrats on the progress you’ve made in the Tone It Up Challenge! Changing diet/lifestyles can be SO HARD. I hope you have a great week!
Thank You! You are right that changing habits that you have had most of your life IS hard. That is why it is so important to have support.
Congrats on making healthy choices! We’re trying to be healthier – no sodium and few saturated fats – at my house too. Come see my week here. Happy reading!
Yay for healthy eating!!! I am sooo hoping that if I stay away from foods that I can’t handle my OTHER health problems will improve
I might have to look into that Murderbot series. I am a mood reader too. My TBR just means anything I own, want to own or plan to borrow from the library. Such a helpful and LONG tbr lol.
lol i used to be the same way. I think after the10th time that I bought a book that I already had i decided a spreadsheet was the way to go.
I have been working on a “Books I own list” on goodreads. I have my ebooks listed and shelved there too. But I have this bad tendency of clicking the “want to read” button there and then I consider it complete, generic TBR lol.
