Hi Everyone!
I know it has been a while since I last posted. I am working on a deadline. I swear being a freelance ghostwriter feels like a never-ending grad school class. Today I even went to the store in grad school it was the student union but now its the store in my pj to get some fuel for tonight’s writing session. I have also slacked off in the exercise for the past month so I am getting back on track for that this week.
O the bookish front I started reading White Trash but it is due at the library soon so I will just pay off the rest of my library fine and check it out here. On Audiobooks, I have been listening to Geekerella which I found on the Audible Romance package. I swear my tastes are changing right before my eyes. I used to read to LEARN now I read to ESCAPE. Like I could have finished White Trash if I really wanted to but like I said I just want to use books to escape so that is what I am doing. I started reading White Trash and it seems to be a very good book and if you are interested in why the white rural poor views things the way they do this book will help you understand Trump’s fan base better. Being as I was born and bred in central Appalachia I already have a good grasp on why that sector of the population thinks and votes the way that they do. I don’t agree with them but I get it. Actually, if I had not gone to college in DC I might still believe that way but my education liberalized my political viewpoints to such an extreme that I think that Mother Teresa could have just been maybe a tad bit more ‘good’ while on this side of eternity. My liberal views drive my family back home insane but I am all like yes you are angry because you lack economic mobility and blah blah blah. Surprisingly that additive just serves father engine the conserve flames and cries of my education has destroyed my soul. Ummmmm OK. Whatever floats your boat.
As I was saying instead of finishing White Trash I am listening to Geekerella. Plus I can listen to Geekerella while I clean my apartment. Nothing like a good audiobook to keep you entertained while cleaning.
I am also looking forward the readathon happening this Saturday!!! I need to get my reading list ready.
I can understand you not finishing White Trash. But Geekerella sounds like it will be a better listen anyway.

I love listening to audiobooks. I actually listen to them while I work, without it being too distracting.
