I think my brain fog which made out almost impossible to have focused on whatever I am doing. I have been on my Synthroid for six weeks, and I have more blood tests done next week. My face is getting super clear, and I have some actual energy, and best of all I CAN READ AGAIN! I am here to tell you the Hashimentos os no joke. I have spent all week reading Dead Tree Books. AND I MADE IT TO THE LIBRARY! Things are looking up. While my autoimmune thingie is getter better, my sleep habits have gone downhill. The shrink took me off my Ambien as I was sleepwalking and according to mom having convos with many people. The dr had me try something called Trazodone and that pill is like taking a fake sugar pill. I see the shrink on Wednesday.

I got the all clear to resume my BBG program.  The closest gym is 40 mins away and..no..just no. I went and bought a few stuff like this and this so I can do ( with plenty of modifications ) the program. The one thing that I did NOT stress over which was how weak my legs feel after no exercise for eight months my legs felt super weak. The first time that I tried BBG I had already been working out..hard..for two years-and was pretty strong. Now my legs felt like jelly. I asked a friend if my muscles had atrophied in 8 months and were met with a no..hillaru you need to get up off your ass and your muscles will recover. So back to BBG I go!

I made it to the library! This is all the book I picked up as I was afraid to jinx my focused reading too much but it seems to be holding

Here is what I got:

A New Earth
A Map of Days

Bridge of Clay

Vox

Broken Things

Have you heard of the new service by the people at BookRiot called Mytbr.co? For now, I am just sticking with having the suggestions being emailed to me as I would hate to spend loads of money and they send a book that I have already read. That would seriously suck. I am hoping to hear back soon so I can hit up my trusty librarian for the actual books. You should have seen her face when I brought her a nice typewritten list of about 20 books I want orders thru ILL.  Getting books in the southeastern part is slow and tedious, so no books from that list have arrived for me.

As I pointed out my focus did not fully come back until around three days ago. But ever since then I have been able to FOCUS and get through books faster. The only thing I cant do is to speed up an audiobook. I swear I feel like the only person left on this earth who does not listen to audiobooks on 1.5 speed. I mean HOW?! I tried that, and it was all gibberish so back to .75 narration speed I go.

The books that I want to get through this week are

Map of Days by Ransome Riggs. I have waited sooooo long for this book o come out, and YES my library had it.

A New Earth- This I a reread. I should probably get my copy

Grit- This book seems to be a long ass book, or maybe it is just my shitty focus, so I am going to try extra hard to get DONE with this book.

I also need to get all of my books in Trello so I can look at it and see all in one place where the book is. Right now I have 15 books in it, so it is far from being comprehensive. I am determined to have it ready for the new year of 2019.
