What I am Grateful for March 2014 Edition

So I thought this was the year that I finally beat the winter blues. And I did. Through a combination of Paleo and fish oil and Vitamin D3 I was coasting along happy as can be. Then I was like well maybe I don’t really NEED the fish oil and Vitamin D. Guess what happened next? Yep, I could feel that old familiar depression settling back in. I promptly ordered both from Amazon and since Amazon has yet to put drones into practice I gotta wait for the mailman to deliver them to my door. I thought while waiting I would write down the things I am grateful for to maybe help me lift my mood a little.

I have the means to eat the most expensive diet known to man

When I started on paleo, I was shocked at how much the food cost. I literally about crapped my pants the first time I was at the checkout counter at the health food store. But, it has been worth it.

I have friends that love me and try their best to cheer me up

And they try super hard. I can’t help but crack a smile when some one tells me a funny story or a joke.

I have a roof over my head

Their are people who don’t have a home in this bitter winter so I am extremely grateful that I do.

I have heat

Their are people that cant afford heat so I am thankful that I can

I am doing what I love to do in life, which is writing

There is nothing like following your dreams.

I live in the state with what I think is one of the best library systems ever. (Ohio)

I have been able to borrow the most obscure books from the library.

I am sure there are others things that I cant think of at the moment, what with the stupid snowstorm that is outside at the moment. Seriously, yesterday I was on my balcony thinking winter is finally over and today SNOW..AGAIN!! I am starting to fear that winter will never end.

So what are you grateful for? Tell me in the comments and together we can get through this nuclear winter.
