April 2020 Goals

Goals 2020

Focus on nutrition

it has been a whole year since I have started working out with Tone it Up. I have to admit, at first, it was hard to be motivated at my house. At the gym never wat to be the fit one off the treadmill si I stayed on it, and I did some weight lifting to get my weak ass some strength back.

Now I can feel myself getting stronger, and this pleases me. Still, I neglected the whole diet part, and I am not skinnier either, so I am going to pay serious attention to what I eat and keep working out, and hopefully, it won’t be another year before I  get some results. I just wanted to say that the diet program by Tone it Up is Delicious. I was diagnosed with binge eating disorder, and I finally admitted it and got help, and for the past few months, I find it way easier to only eat to fuel my body and don’t that food will make me happy.

SOOO check back in May, and  I will tell you how  I did!

Get ahead with blog posts.

Hahaha, a considering this post is “late,” and I have not really posted in a month I can see a lot of you with the skeptical expression.  I did a time audit and figured when I am at my most creative. Before, it was super early in the morning, but since my insomnia is under control, that was no longer the case. After two weeks, I  look a the data, and it turns out I am at my creative best from 1 pm-6 pm.  That shifts my entire schedule forward from what it was like before, so still getting used to it.

I will tell you next month how it went!!

Learn how to cook

I CAN cook sorta. If it is a smoothie r microwaveable I and a pro. One I moved out and started living on my own, I developed a series of fast food addiction. I mean, the local burger king knew me AND what I always ordered. I am sure that did not help matters and went my health all fell apart, I realized to get back to peak health. I need to eat at home and cook my own food and avoid the likes of Mcdonadlas in the foreseeable future.

I have some recipes that I want o try. It will have to be simple at first, then I can build up to more complicated recipes.

Make reading a priority

I have a confession to make. I haven’t been reading as much since that virus started up in the USA. Before that became as big a deal as it is now, I was CRUSHING my reading and personal goals.  Then I started dress eating, and my weight went up, so now I am back to tracking all my food on Noom. I do not have a scale of my own because I get all upset if I don’t like the number it shows, so it is just better that I get weighed when I go to the dr.

Now I realize how much time that I have been spent on the internet, falling down millions of rabbit holes mostly due to the virus, and it is messing with my mental health, so now I am choosing to read instead of watching a virus on tv, and it spread to Eastern KY. I have been doing this for the past few days, and it has really helped my mental health, so I will keep it up.

Take time to connect with friends

I hate to admit this, but since I decided a couple of months a go to monetize this blog, I have been isolating myself and not partaking my self-care routine, and it showed. I felt emotionally depleted. I figured this out before any damage was done, so I am better now, but now I try to facetime my friends at least once a week.

Kon Marie my closet

I WANT to wear something other than my PJ while I am working, but the fact is my closet scares the hell out of me. IT IS packed with clothes from millions of years ago. And that is only a slight exaggeration.  When I moved away to the big city for college for some reason, my mom never went through the stuff I had in there. Then I had some severe health issues and moved back. I saw that my closet looked as if mom had hoarding every scrap of paper she could. I mean seriously, I bet she could have made it onto the show called   Hoarders, but my uncle talked me out of submitting her to whoever Is in charge of that show.

I DO have some clothes that I could wear for the day time, but they are all mixed in with clothes that should have already been in the dump.

I have read all of the Marie Kondo books AND watched the Netflix show. Also, I am super tired of staying in my PJ all day, so I am gonna tackle that closet if it is the only thing  I accomplish in April.
