Goals for July 2020

Well, here we are in July. I have to be honest; it feels as this year has been a total wipeout. I was telling a friend the other day I want a do-over for 2020. Unfortunately, we have not figured out how to work a time machine, I am going to do the next best thing.  I am hitting reset on this year and make the last half memorable.
I had some actions that I was doing to help me achieve my goals in 2020. One was to track every bite I ate into Noom. I have to admit it was tough at first, but I finally got the hang of monitoring EVERYTHING in the Noom app, and my weight loss is speeding up! I finally resolved my sleep problems. I HATED the mask thingie, so I told myself I would give my Young Living oils one last try, and I researched the hell out of which oil makes you sleepy and found a recipe on Pinterest and finally found some that worked last a charm!
I also started taking  Super You supplements from Moon Juice and to be honest, I got it in the hopes it would make my belly fat go down faster I can’t say that it was with the money for THAT purpose pose BUT overall, mood-wise and shit it is worth its weight in gold. I will do a post of it later.
The one that that I did not do is to get my binge eating under control; I am in the habit of working out first thing in the morning, but then I get the munchies, or I eat to comfort myself.  The fact that I STILL lost five pounds doing Tone It Up workouts says a lot about that.   The one thing that I want to focus on for July is my nutrition. So here is what I am striving for July
Put everything that I eat into my Noom App no matter if it is zillion calories. NOT tracking has proven to do more harm than good, so it is important that I track every single bite in Noom.
Drink at least 60 oz of water a day but aim for 137  that FitBit recommends. I HAVE drunk that much a few years ago when I was strictly Paleo, but I can’t stand meat, so it was not sustainable. When I did drink an l20 oz a day, it felt like I was a whole new person. I could focus better on the fake hunger int away and much more stuff like that.
Get out of the house more.
I admit, every time that  Read a productivity book, I seem to think I have found the secret to the universe in which I would accomplish all the things. I seem to forget that I have chronic pain ( Psoriatic Arthritis) AND Schizoaffective disorder. That means that all of the productive advice that was written for 100 percent of health people probably will not work for me. I even found after experimentation that getting “dressed” up does not work cause I seem to be a person who, when I dress up, then sit down to write a blog at my house, all I can think of is when I get back into my pajamas. That right there kills any inking of productivity. I have turned into a big fan of taking what works for you and disregard the rest. I think I have a routine settled for now and it does not include waking up at 5 am and jump right into the day.

  1. I’ve been tracking my food and exercise too. I’m using the Lose It app. At first, I forgot a lot, but I’ve been tracking since February, so remembering is not hard anymore. Good luck with your tracking and exercise. Have a great July!

    1. I had a hard time at first too, then I told myself I needed to enter all the food right there while I eat, and that has helped a lot.
