.
I usually start the month with a goal post. I did a time audit for the last couple of weeks, and it was eye-opening! I had no idea how many rabbit holes I had gotten stuck in. I tell myself that everyone has the same 24 hours a day, and I had a friend tell me that there are two types of people those in the game and those WATCHING the game. I had been having a tough time ( i was in college then) about some nasty rumors, and my friend sat me down and asked me, do you think the people playing football give one iota of a fuck what people say and think about them? No, cause they are to busy winning! That advice is around 20 years old, and it has stuck with me and will continue to stick with me.
I lost my way these last couple of years by trying to please everyone and letting my extra sensitive self get in the way.
However, now that I am aware of it, that is all going to change. I am making me a schedule and sticking with it. Iknow that I am a spoonie, but I have read about the Ivey Lee way of getting shit done somewhere, but it escapes my mind as to where I first heard about this, and I want to experiment to see how it fares for me. If it works great! If I have to modify it, that is O.K also! I have a LOT of good things come to my way in the last few weeks, and I know that it is because I had goals that fit me, but we all (me included ) need to take the right kind of ACTION if we want to bring all of our dreams to life!
I am going to start being more intentional with my time. If it is a writing session, then iI will focus ONLY on writing. No one can multitask well, and I am horrible at it, so I am going to set a time for everything from scheduling social media to reading and everything else. And that also means no mindless scrolling on Instagram wishing I could be in the South of France. I could if I put my heart and soul into improving my life instead of dreaming about stuff and not taking any meaningful actions. As the saying goes, there is manifesting, but to be able to demonstrate anything, you MUST take action! You have to put your whole heart and soul into the manifesting.
Another hard lesson I learned it will always backfire if you try to cut corners and be cheap with your health. I was doing so well then I realized how much was spent on supplements and exercise stuff. I could save a few bucks by not buying all my Young Living stuff, but I soon learned that if I do not take my supplements, then I start to slide back to square one, and THAT is something that I hope never to have to experience ever again. I know and BELIVE that with good health, you can do a LOT more, and thus, you can even make up the income you spend on supplements!
I looked back at some of the things that I wrote last month while I was not feeling well, and it was shitty. No other way to say it. Now that I am feeling lots better and my brain functions correctly, I know I can achieve some goals this month.
