December 2018 Goals

OMG, it is DECEMBER! WHERE THE HELL DID THE YEAR GO? Even though I was sick and in pain for most of the year, I had a pretty good year. I am still dealing with getting my Hashimoto’s under control, and I still have pain from flare-ups, but overall I am MUCH better than I was eight months ago. I LOVE Christmas, so December is one of my most favorite months in the year.

I am so grateful that this year is the third year in a loooong time that I have been able to appreciate Christmas Music. This year it is even better as my listening skills are even better than last year. I can’t BELIEVE how good these implants are working out for me, but I am soaking up allll the Holiday Music that I can. I have like 1500 Christmas Sounds in a Christmas playlist on Spotify. It may be overkill, but I don’t care. Now on to my December Goals!

Workout every day

If My knees are hurting, don’t just sit on my sorry butt and say we will see how I feel tomorrow. If I am not in pain, I will do my Daily Burn workout.  If I AM in pain then Yoga with Adrienne. The goal is to do SOMETHING every day. I know I will feel lots better and I generally have a good day if I work out and shower before starting the day’s tasks.

Do 2019 Desire Map Thingie

I have done this for three years now, and I have to say it REALLLLY changed the way I prioritize the stuff I do. Now that Danielle Laport has Desire Map workbook it will be more comfortable as do not have to type it all into Day One me.

Redo my Todoist

Oh, how I love Todoist! It keeps me on track with all the things that I need to do. However, it has become a great big mess; I can’t even tell what I need to do in the first place. I usually write everything in my planner. But I need to write all the little bitty details in Todoist. Some of them are related to projects that I am no longer doing, and I get all confused. Hashimoto’s brain fog is no joke. After I map out what I WANT AND NEED to do for 2019, I will fill in my todoist with my 2019 goals.

Cull my Feedly

I checked, and I have over a thousand blogs in my Feedly. Obviously I can’t read ALL of them, and lately, all I want to learn are book blogs and maybe a few business blogs. I don’t go for a lot of the lifestyle stuff anymore. The Hillary that got dressed to the nines every day is, as Taylor Swift once said: “cause she is dead.” Now I write in Pajamas. Well not always, it depends on how I am feeling that day, but you get my drift.

           Enjoy The hell out of the Holidays!

Yeah, this the essential part of the of what to do this month. I freeeking LOVE Christmas and this year I am totally at peace with myself and the world and that is almost better than anything money can buy. I plan to sit back and read all the books and eat alll the Christmas candies. I am still working out with Daily Burn, so hopefully, that will offset the calories consumed in the holiday season.
