I would generally have had this goal post up already but was hit with an autoimmune diagnosis that forced me to rethink all of my type A goals. For example, I always tried to exercise, and all of that at 5 am. Now, that I know the problem is, I have Hashimoto’s and am not lazy and no matter how hard I pushed that 5 am workout was not going to happen this month. I hope that I feel a lot better and that my bloodwork is good. I go in for testing next month to see if I need more medications and all of that but for Oct it ain’t happening. I had to go back and re-evaluate my whole work day and stuff, and I realized that I would do better to arrange things by my energy level than by what time the clock and all the experts say. So That is what I am doing.

Get Back on Track with my morning routine

Well, it may not be morning from now on when I start but rather the ORSER of things I do when waking up.  Even if my start time is ten am will still wake up get caffeinated do my yoga (for now) and all of that.

 

Work on conquering my shiny object syndrome

I have the worst shiny Object syndrome of anyone I know. All my friends are like HOW MUCH???!! While I am all like here take my money when I already have four other programs that do almost the same thing. I want/need to learn how to use what I have effectively and not pay 29.99 for another app.

Start Yoga

I was doing The Bikini Body Guide, and it works like magic, but without any energy, it is kind of hard.  I asked on Twitter for a recommendation for a workout that would be Hashimoto friendly, and everyone suggested that I try Yoga with Adriene. I looked and decided o try her 30 day Yoga  Thingie. I am the type of person who thrives on a schedule with an exercise program, so that is another reason I like what I saw on her website. So I am giving this a try.

Start time blocking

 

I tried this in August but the problem was, and still is I am not suing how much each task takes me, so it is hard to schedule stuff to do. Also, I wasn’t focusing as I should be because I was always going back and forth between projects and getting distracted and sucked down rabbit holes. I used the app Freedom to block only the internet for a short period and timed myself doing every everything, so I will have a realistic view of how to make a time block for each thing that I need to do.

 

Work on the Book Blogging Resource Libray

This is something that I will be releasing in January 2019. I am just now starting to develop ideas for the Book Blog resource library. I am hoping to have at least ten things before I launch in January. If you have any ideas of what to include in the Resource Library yell me in the form below

and of course read and write for the blog. I wanted to add more, but I know with me getting my thyroid back on track it will be impossible to do the routine had a few months ago. These days If I manage to do my yoga and shower and clean into fresh pajamas I call the day a success. I hope November will be better energy and focus wise.

So that is all I have planned for this month. I hope that by the end of the year I will be back to my old self but in the meantime Pajamas and pumpkin spice coffee and a book it is!
