Guess WHAT?!? The answer to all my sleep issues has been found out. It turns out I have a horrible case of Sleep Apnea, and I would quit breathing and wake up. I rarely enter the deep sleep that a person needs to feel fully rested and have all of their brainpower. I don’t have that machine thing yet as I am waiting on insurance to approve it. The almighty insurance people don’t care about my quality of sleep as it is going on two weeks now, but alas I feel a million times better just knowing that it is a fixable situation.
I spent most of my time last week asleep. I guess. My brain was so tired that it decided to sleep even if I did wake up a lot to start breathing again. I am anticipating have a massive block of readers sleep soon but this then I will take what I can get.
I had a huge library haul (biggest one all year) at 11 books! I know I used to have massive library hauls before, but that was before my knees started copping out on me. I felt good last week, so I went to the library, and this is what I got:
I really want to read about Murderbot I have the book out from the library so I will read that next. I have started listening to the Three Woman on audio on Scribd and I can tell it is gonna be one of those books that leave me enthralled. As for others, I am not sure yet. I have been big on “mood reading” the last couple of months so I shall see!
Appalachian Reckoning– I knew that the powers that be in da hillz would not let Hillbilly Elegy just pass and I was right! I was born and raised in South Eastern Ky and that is where I am at now. I did spend 20 years in a city and I feel as if I can see the whole picture or maybe I too am biased I really don’t know yet.
Apps that I did not know that I needed until I tried them
I am part of a mastermind and one blogger that I much admire told us about the whole Building a Second Brain course. I would LOOOVE to take it, but I am also saving up for some important stuff, so I have to limit my budget at the moment. So I put it on a course wishlist form I created in Airtable. Anyway, so I have been pouring over the free material on that site and found out about the site of Readwise. It takes all your kindle or other ebook highlights, and you can do a million different things with that data including exporting all to Evernote! I am not sure at what all it does myself as I just found out about it last week and I am still on my free trial. But if it turns to that, I can figure out hoot do all the stuff it is supposed to then you can bet tour last dollar I will be upgrading!
What Made Me Happy Last Week
Getting way better with sleeping. I can even feel my creativity coming back!
my aunt told me hillbilly elegy was really interesting and i will be checking the library for that. my husband has sleep apnea and it drove me crazy until he got checked out and went on the machine. he sleeps much better now, and so do i. LOL
