Well, April just whizzed on by. Probably cause I was staring a client deadline in the face and all my waking moments spent either in the gym or writing. I am not complaining though this is the sort of life I have always envisioned for myself. Well in my dreams I am not in Cleveland but rather in the tropics but other than that it is going great.

april 2018 wrap up

I am still stuck on the BBG beginner program. It sometimes feels that I am doomed to only do the beginner circuit and never advancing to the “real” workout. I am losing weight like crazy, and I can feel myself getting stronger so I know am making progress. I did not blow up to 320 pounds overnight, so I cant ex[pect to get back in shape overnight.

I love to listen to music when I am blogging or writing. I had been using brain. Fm but paying for that plus Spotify was starting to make me feel extra broke. I then went on the hunt on Spotify for a suitable playlist. I remember in college I wrote all my best papers to the tune of techno music, so I started listening to different playlists. After three weeks I FINALLY found the perfect one!  I just put it on shuffle play and on repeating, and I can listen to this all day long, and it does help me focus. Plus it hooks up with exist.io  so that I can accurately track just how productive I am when I listen to music.

This was my most popular Instagram. Looking at this picture, and I even impress myself. I was feeling really fat and really down that day that I took it for my monthly fitness update. Then I got both pictures in photoshop, and I was stunned. Goes to show you how off we can be about our weight. That is why it helps to have pictures to compare

It is hard for me to see the one in the green shirt. This was shortly before I went to the DR and they told me I weighed a whopping 320 pounds. I broke down crying my eyes out. Then I got to work. I tried Weight Watchers for two years but after 50 pounds I kept gaining and losing the same ten pounds THEN I found @kayla_itsines #BBG program and even though it looks hard as hell I gave it a go. I have been doing BBG since January, and I am telling this program WORKS! I follow the meal plan also, and this program is magic. As long as I follow the program, the weight melts off. I see have some hang-ups that I am dealing with in therapy. As I use BBG not only am I getting physically stronger but I am gaining emotional strength also. I used to let people walk all over me but not anymore. As you can tell I still have a long way to go to reach my goal weight but I know as long as I stick to the program I will reach it.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ -⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #kaylasarmy #bbg #kaylaitsines⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #kayla #deathbykayla #bbgprogress #weightloss #bbgtransformation #bbgcomunity #weightlosssupport #deathbykayla

I have a bit of confession to make. Last month when was extremely busy I told myself I would read and some other stuff. Then I realized that this is the start I am lining clients up quickly, and I am going to be busy forever and ever Amen. I then realized that I had to get better control of my time. I am using rescue time to keep track of what all I do. I am going to try that first, and if it does not work for my purpose, I will make a spreadsheet. Once I realize where all my time is going, I can make some changes and get a routine going that will enable me to read (which I love a lot) while still providing clients with outstanding services.

This what I posted on the blog in April

I did better than I thought which leads me to believe that I am entirely capable of having time management skills. At least I won’t have to start at zero so to speak; I need to gain better control of my time, so I can make sure everyone is getting the best of me.
